Hansel and Gretel; Witch Hunters - Tommy Wirkola

In this spin on the fairy tale, Hansel & Gretel are now bounty hunters who track and kill witches all over the world. As the fabled Blood Moon approaches, the siblings encounter a new form of evil that might hold a secret to their past. This was one of our newer ones and just from looking at the front cover you can see this real contrasts in colours which many of the dark fairytales seem to have in common and use to their advantage. There is an awful lot of violence in the film and this is something that we would maybe have to think about given the fact that we are making our film suitable for children under 12. I didn't think this was one of the greatest movies ever made, but i think their plot was interesting and the lighting used was very similar to other dark fairytales already out.
