Red Riding Hood - Catherine Hardwicke

Set in a medieval village that is haunted by a werewolf, a young girl falls for an orphaned woodcutter, much to her family's displeasure. The film is very much a film directed for a younger audience, thus the reason for the 12a certificate and throughtout uses very opposite lighting techniques. The film continues to switch between bright whites and then go into gloomy black parts, a technique that we very much wanted to borrow in the making of our movie. I think it was an interesting movie, maybe not the type of one I personally would watch again, but it did make for some interesting narrative and technical devices that we may use in our short clip.
